You and Your Uniform ...

  • Neutral coloured underwear to be worn beneath your uniform.
 
  • Keep your uniform clean and ironed at all times.
 
  • Do not wear your uniform to training. Change rooms will be provided for your use.
 
  • Your uniform is not to be worn for any purpose other than training.
 
  • No shoes or socks to be worn while training.
 
  • Remove all forms of jewellery (watches, rings, ear rings, etc…).
 
  • Application of deodorant and/or washing of feet may be courteous before training.
 
  • Keep you finger and toenails clipped at all times.
   

At Class ...

  • Students should be at class at least 15 - 20 minutes before scheduled starting time (to change and warm up)
 
  • A correct bow should be used in class before and after speaking to other students and your Instructor.
 
  • Use the title "Instructor" when addressing your Instructor in class.
 
  • Carry out the directives of the Instructor promptly.
 
  • Should you have to leave the hall for any reason during class you must approach the Instructor and ask permission.
 
  • No food or drink in the hall.
 
  • Keep talking to a minimum and try to restrict conversation to the topic of training.
